Environmental protection and the drive toward carbon neutrality are core to our values.
As a business, we've reduced Year on Year CO2 by 577.51 tonnes or 35% since we began measuring back in 2019.
Three year ago, we launched the Green Team, an inclusive group of passionate environmental champions representing all our sites.

The team’s mission is to collaborate on ideas that reduce our environmental impact by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing practical, sustainable changes.
Through regular meetings, the Green Team has developed a company-wide action plan focused on embedding eco-friendly practices into our daily operations and raising awareness of environmental issues across the business.
Taking action on climate issues can be hard, but introducing a designated Green Team offers an empowering way to make a difference. Having a dedicated internal group working towards agreed targets will make the process more efficient. Introducing our Green Team is the first step in Thomas Hardie’s Action Plan to reduce our carbon footprint.
