Ainscough Industrial Services continues to invest in its industry-leading fleet with the addition of a new Volvo FH13, presented by Neil Crook, Customer Solutions Manager – Preston.
This vehicle marks the second delivery in a planned series of five heavy haulage tractor units for 2025. The first FH 500 6x2 Tag 65-tonne Tractor unit arrived in June, with the 2nd landing in Ainscough’s yard in November. A further two 65-Tonne units will arrive in December along with an 80-Tonne tractor unit.
All five vehicles will look identical with Ainscough’s striking Silver grey cab paint and Red Livery, but the 80-tonne unit will have a few additional features to ensure maximum efficiency at the higher STGO weight.
The FH 6x2 twin tyred tag tractor units comprise of Globetrotter cab, I-Shift Gearbox, 9T Front Axle, Extended drive package complete with leather seats, fridge, microwave, TV Kit and in cab table for maximum driver comfort.
The vehicles also boast the factory built in load indicator and gearbox oil cooler with the 80-Tonne unit showcasing the 13L 540 engine and crawler gears for optimum efficiency at higher weights.
The latest additions also offer drivers a host of advanced display features and are fully equipped with latest GSR2 features designed to enhance comfort, safety, and efficiency on every journey.
