As we approach the Christmas break, our annual internal Thomas Hardie newsletter is well underway and soon to be distributed to all employees.

Yesterday, Claire Butterworth and Cade Marshall from our Preston depot visited  Derian House Children's Hospice  in Chorley to select and decorate a Christmas tree for Derian’s annual Trees of Love festive event. Our chosen tree is adorned from top to bottom with beautiful pastel decorations and finished with a striking top-hat topper, a design we hope will bring joy to the children at Derian. Yesterday,  Matthew Halliday , our Group Aftermarket Manager at Thomas Hardie, joined senior representatives from Volvo Bus UK & Ireland,  Richard Mann , Fleet Sales Director, and  Saskia Legate , National Account Manager, at the Public Transport North Conference held at the DoubleTree Hilton in Manchester. This morning, we held our first strategic planning meeting with senior personnel from TFGM ( Transport for Greater Manchester ) and  Volvo Buses . The session provided a valuable opportunity to collaborate on future plans and explore forthcoming investment opportunities.
