Lancashire-based Huntapac Produce Limited has taken delivery of five new Volvo FH 460 Globetrotter tractor units from Neil Crook, Customer Solutions Manager – Preston.
The order followed a successful fuel trial and tender process. Each truck features factory cab paint and is equipped with an I-Shift gearbox, as well as Huntapac-specific options and GSR2 safety requirements, including:
➡️ Moving Off Information
➡️ Reverse camera
➡️ Side collision warning
➡️ Forward collision warning
➡️ Advanced emergency braking
These features help enhance driver safety and support the fleet’s operational needs.
Since 1942, Home Farm has been the base of the Hunter family, who have grown root vegetables for over four generations. The business continues to expand through innovation and farming across the UK.
Following an exciting development, Huntapac now dries and mills its crops—rich in vitamins and minerals—into natural powders with multiple uses, all produced under the “Homeground” brand.
All five vehicles will be maintained by our Aftersales team in Preston on a full Volvo Gold Maintenance Contract.
Our sincerest thanks go to the entire team at Huntapac for choosing Thomas Hardie and selecting Volvo for this latest vehicle purchase.
